Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd (KAB) has obtained a letter of intent (LOI) from Land Marker Sdn Bhd to do RM16.7 million worth of electrical services installation work for the proposed 44-story Bon Kiara condominium project in Mont Kiara.
Land Marker is owned and operated by Bon Estates Sdn Bhd.
The job scope includes the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of an electrical services installation and pile cap lightning protection earthing.
The construction will take place in the forthcoming Bon Kiara development, which will have two condominium towers with a total of 410 residential units, a multi-level and underground parking garage, and a clubhouse.
Datuk Lai Keng Onn, managing director of KAB, stated that the LOI represented the company’s second big project with Bon Estates, following the completion of similar works for The Estate Bangsar South last year.
“This demonstrates the client’s faith in our ability to provide high-quality mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering services for high-profile projects.
“Our present M&E order book will expand to RM260.5 million with this contract, to be recognised over the following three years.
Lai stated, “We anticipate expanding our M&E division to include more building and development projects.”
