The Goodwood Residence, the newest property development by UOA Development Bhd in Bangsar South, is currently 35% sold, and the developer is optimistic about reaching its sales target despite the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak.
“We see strong demand for the Bangsar South neighbourhood.” This is a leasehold development, and we just renewed the lease till the year 2119,” Frankie Choo, senior manager of sales and marketing at UOA Development, told StarBiz.
The project is currently 30 percent complete. It resides on a 3.07-acre plot of land.
The soft preview was conducted in June of this year, with the formal launch being in June.
The residential construction project consists of 678 units that are anticipated to be finished in 2023.
“In terms of pricing, we are estimating RM720 per square foot (psf) and upwards, with sizes ranging from 947 square feet (sq ft) with three bedrooms and two bathrooms to 2,002 sq ft,” Choo said.
He stated that each unit is largely furnished and will have between two and four parking spaces, depending on its size.
“Goodwood Residence also has two entrances to alleviate traffic congestion in Bangsar South.”
“This was taken into consideration.
“One is located behind Nexus and the other is accessible via Jalan Pantai Permai.
“Residents can reach the New Pantai Expressway via this route,” Choo stated.
The distinctive selling proposition of the development, according to him, is that it can accommodate many generations, as seen by the available amenities.
“Our facilities serve three generations, including seniors, middle-aged individuals, and children.
Choo stated, “We have almost 40 facilities that cater to these three generations of individuals.”
Choo stated that units are created with anti-slip tiling and flooring materials, and that corridors are large enough to accommodate wheelchairs.
